Summary of the contracting process

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the City of Westminster are initiating a market engagement process titled "MARKET ENGAGEMENT - Learning Disabilities Choice and Support Services." This planning stage targets the social work services industry, specifically aimed at enhancing opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities. A key event, referred to as "Choices Day," is scheduled for 30th November 2017, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at The Stowe Centre, 258 Harrow Road, London, W2 5ES. Providers and voluntary sector organisations are invited to participate and showcase their services, with the engagement ending on 23rd February 2018.

This tender offers significant growth prospects for organisations specialising in support services for individuals with learning disabilities, particularly those that provide personal budget management and individual service fund arrangements. Businesses well-suited to compete include voluntary sector organisations and providers with offerings for high-functioning autism or Asperger's Syndrome. The event will allow participants to connect with potential customers and establish a presence in the local market, although it does not constitute a formal procurement exercise, ensuring that all interested parties can engage without any expectation of future contracts.
