This is essential towards understanding the cell-specific mechanisms (regulated by few cells within a tissue or organ) underlying several root anatomical and architectural traits that allow roots to enhance soil exploration for capturing more resources such as nutrients and water under stress conditions and thus confer stress tolerance and improve yield. There are several researcher across university that are interested in using the LCM for their work.
