Crisis Response Media Training
Notice Description
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has procured a specialist Crisis Response Media Training service to support the preparedness and effectiveness of staff involved in overseas crisis management. The requirement provides realistic media training, interview simulations, role-play journalism, social media and crisis communications exercises designed to build confidence and capability amongst senior leaders, communications professionals, Rapid Deployment Team members and other crisis responders. The procurement was conducted through the Government Commercial Agency's RM6219 Learning and Development Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), established under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Following a competitive further competition amongst suppliers registered on the DPS, the contract was awarded to the supplier offering the Most Economically Advantageous Tender based on a 70% quality and 30% price evaluation methodology. The contract term is an initial 24 months, running from 18 September 2026 to 17 September 2028. There are two optional 12-month extensions, which would extend the contract to 17 September 2030 if both are used. The forecast contract value is PS300,000-PS400,000 excluding VAT for the initial 24-month term, subject to actual course volumes commissioned and draw-down demand during the contract period.
