The Supply of Media Storage Services

Notice Description

Historic England is looking for a supplier to provide the following services: 1) Storage To store Historic England (HE) tape storage boxes To provide access to the Historic England boxes at the storage location on the next working day (following notification by Historic England) 2) Collection and Delivery One delivery and collection per working day (excludes weekends and public holidays). This will normally be for a single box to and from HE, Swindon (see above timetable), but may occasionally include an ad-hoc recall or return. Ad hoc recall or return of a box to be delivered as part of the standard delivery/collection on the next working day Emergency recall and delivery of a box back to HE Swindon within 3 hours PLEASE NOTE - Contract Commencement Date: 1st February 2019 Contract Duration: 1 year Contract Extension Periods available: 12 months, plus 12 months, plus 12 months Very occasional delivery of boxes to a nominated disaster recovery site (currently Reading) within 4 hours of a request Delivery vehicles should be secure enough to ensure boxes cannot be tampered with, lost or stolen whilst in transit 3) Storage Location To be environmentally controlled To have secure building access controls To have secure storage for all HE boxes Additional information: Suppliers interested in this opportunity should register at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/historic-england/aspx/Home in orderto express interest and download documentation.
