As part of GM's successful Regional Care Cooperative bid there was a commitment to undertake feasibility studies focused on reimagining what the supported accommodation offer for 16 - 24 year olds (given the challenges that exist in terms of supply and suitability of accommodation) and the health care offer for children in residential care (given the variation in models and their impact). Both pieces of work will require extensive stakeholder engagement through interviews with local authorities, NHS colleagues, providers and young people alongside analysis of available data. This will require dedicated resources from people with the appropriate expertise and subject knowledge ****Issued as a direct award via exemption route as per the GMCA constitution ****
