Waste and Recycling Contract
Notice Description
Waste and Recycling Contract to manage, recycle and dispose of waste arising from the property maintenance activities of Oakleaf Commercial Services (OCS) who are part of The Community Housing Group. Waste arising from property maintenance, building construction, environmental maintenance (fly tipping), property clearances (white goods), grounds maintenance and green waste and asbestos, plasterboard and similar in connection with the activities of Oakleaf CS. The service requires the supply and removal of skips varying from 40 yard to 8 yard open and closed skips. Skips to be delivered to OCS depot, Kidderminster, partner depots in Kidderminster, construction sites within a 50 mile radius of Kidderminster and to residential properties owned by The Community Housing Group located in the Wyre Forest Area, Worcestershire. Additional information: The supplier should demonstrate previous experience and be able to clearly demonstrate how they have successfully provided waste management services. The supplier will provide continuous improvement within a partnership whilst delivering value for money. The client is seeking to achieve added value through training opportunities or similar. The supplier will be required to demonstrate their ability to mobilise the contract from 1 May 2020 having been awarded the contract not before the 26 March 2020. The contract term is 3 + 2 years. Unit prices for the provision of skips and the disposal of waste/recycling shall be detailed on the pricing schedule, the estimated number of annual lifts and tonnage is provided within the schedule. A copy of the formal agreement will be provided within the tender pack.
