The initiative, launched in 2020, involves an open procurement method and is currently in the award stage. The contract, valued at £954,789, will run from 22nd June 2022 until 31st March 2025, supporting 60 homes at a ratio of 1 keyworker for every 10 residents. This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses involved in social services and housing support, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs). Companies that provide welfare support, social work, and housing services will have a competitive advantage, given the project's focus on developing supportive environments for individuals experiencing homelessness. Engaging in such contracts not only helps expand operational capacities but also contributes positively to community welfare and social responsibility.
