NOTE: This notice was updated on 26 January 2017 for the following reason: Please be advised that this opportunity has been withdrawn due to submitted bids being non compliant to the mentioned specification and contractual termsTo ensure that data reported on the MSAR1 forms up and including 2016 are available digitally. Monthly Shellfish Activity Return (MSAR) 1 forms were introduced in 2006 to record information on activity and catch of under 10m commercial potting and netting vessels with shellfish licences. Detailed information such as effort and shellfish captured is needed to increase the amount of useful data available on shellfisheries in England and improve the robustness of national stock assessments for edible crab and lobster, which Cefas produce.
