SPS 2279 - Joint Venture Between Royal Borough of Greenwich and a Commercial Partner for the Delivery of Fibre to the Premises Infrastructure throughout Royal Greenwich
Notice Description
In furtherance of its "Greenwich Digital Connectivity Strategy" , the Council wishes to establish a joint venture (JV) with a commercial partner (JV Partner) to deliver fibre to the premises (FttP) infrastructure initially in the Woolwich area (Phase 1) and with the potential and objective, but only at the Council's absolute discretion and option, ultimately to extend the JV to cover roll-out of FttP throughout the Royal Borough of Greenwich (the Borough). The infrastructure is to be run on an open access basis, i.e. all internet service providers (ISPs) and mobile network operators (MNOs) will be able to access the infrastructure at wholesale prices.Full description of the works are provided in the link below: https://procontract.due-north.com/Opportunities/Index?resetFilter=True&applyFilter=True&p=2241eb95-058a-e511-80f7-000c29c9ba21&v=1 Additional information: Full details relating to the project are provided in the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 16:00pm UK Local Time on Friday 17th July 2020, via ProContract tender portal. If you require any clarifications on the tender documents, please submit these in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal, including the project reference and title clearly in the Subject title, by Friday 3rd July 2020 at 16:00pm. The Councils responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically via Messaging in ProContract tender portal. Please note that this project has been advertised on Contracts Finder/ other web portals, however, supplying the ProContract tender portal is the only portal that includes all the relevant documents required to respond to this opportunity, bearing Project Id: DN480828. No Tender submissions will be considered without completing the tender documents in full including attachments and returning them in alignment with the instructions within the tender documents.
