WE ARE RE-COMMISSIONING THIS MENTAL HEALTH PEER SUPPORT SERVICE TO CONTINUE ADDRESSING THE ONGOING NEED FOR ACCESSIBLE, PEER-LED MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY. THE EXISTING SERVICE HAS PROVEN SUCCESSFUL IN PROVIDING ESSENTIAL SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS MANAGING THEIR MENTAL HEALTH, AND WE AIM TO BUILD ON THIS SUCCESS. BY RE-COMMISSIONING THE SERVICE, WE SEEK TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE THE STRUCTURED AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT WHERE INDIVIDUALS CAN RECEIVE GUIDANCE AND ASSISTANCE FROM THOSE WITH LIVED EXPERIENCES OF MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES. THIS INITIATIVE WILL ENSURE THE CONTINUITY OF A VALUABLE RESOURCE THAT BRIDGES THE GAP BETWEEN PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AND THE COMMUNITY.
