Notice Description

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a single supplier to supply a clinically led benchmarking system that provides access to data and reports, to provide detailed national health intelligence and market assessment data, to monitor, compare and evaluate service provision, care quality, market share and competitor analysis. The Contract will be for a two year period, with the option to extend for a further 12 months + 12 months. As a minimum, the service should provide comparative data relating to mortality, morbidity, acute hospital activity, primary care service demand and service referrals, quality of care indicators and Trust performance. The service should identify and pre-empt potential clinical or operational performance issues with alert mechanisms based on agreed KPI thresholds. The provider must work with the Trust to tailor the product to the Trust's requirements, and support integration of the tools into the Trust's existing systems and processes to ensure that clinical and managerial staff can utilise the system to inform and drive service improvement and development.
