Notice Description

PLEASE NOTE: This Contract Opportunity is Reserved This contract opportunity is reserved under the principles set out in PPN 11/20 "Reserving Below Threshold Contracts". The PPN permits the reserving the procurement for Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) / Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSEs). NHS Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of specialist providers to design and conduct between two and five Equality & Human Rights Impact Analysis (EIAs) during the 2021/2022 financial year. Health Education England (HEE) requires the services of up to four specialist providers to commence work at the earliest opportunity. This analysis will be required to inform policy and programme development, as well as core business processes including postgraduate medical and dental recruitment, assessment, progression and professional support. The provider will need to have an in-depth knowledge of public bodies' legal obligations outlined in the Equality Act 2010 and of NHS commitments, targets and frameworks for promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. These include the Workforce Race Equality Standard and Equality Delivery System (ES2). The maximum financial envelope of this exercise is PS160,000 inclusive of Vat, split across up to four potential specialist providers. The contract period will be for one year and subject to annual budget review and KPIs with the option to extend by up to a further one year. The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 23rd May 2021 at 12:00pm (midday). Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. The Contracting Authority requests that all communications are channelled through the e-portal system only and not with the Contracting Authority itself other than as expressly permitted within this ITT.
