Bluecoat - Principal Contractor for Energy Efficiencies

Notice Description

Cheshire West and Chester are acting as the facilitator for the advertising of this contract. The evaluation and award of contract will be made by Bluecoat. To apply, you need to visit The Chest, www.the-chest.org.uk, register your interest and download the documents. There is also a Q&A messaging section which all correspondence must be directed through. Bluecoat, Liverpool's centre for the contemporary arts has secured capital funding from Arts Council England and the European Regional Development Fund to redevelop public areas of the building and to introduce a range of measures that will improve energy efficiency. Bluecoat are committed to reducing their energy usage through a number of energy saving measures including changes in lighting, lighting control, building management systems and heating controls. Bluecoat invites the Tenderer to submit a Tender for the following:- o Strip out existing lighting and replace with low energy alternative in affected areas o Install a "day extend" control for the mechanical engineering systems serving the Performance Space o Modify controls for Garden and Sandon Rooms so each can be heated separately o Install electrical meters and data loggers to monitor power consumption
