Notice Description

An opportunity is due to come to market in the near future for the valeting of DVLA's Vehicle Fleet. This will likely be a 5 year contract and awarded following an open-competition of all interested suppliers. There are currently 20 vehicles including cars, vans and minibuses used for DVLA operational activities. These require professional valeting (including an anti-bacterial finish) on a periodic basis. It is estimated that this would amount to 5 times per year, per vehicle, this is subject to change. The suppliers, will expect to adhere to (and provide evidence to this affect) DVLA's Modern Slavery Policy and would expect to be located in an appropriate location to easily facilitate the service at the Swansea site. All queries including whether you would like to bid should be addressed to andrew.williams@dvla.gov.uk. Information about how to apply will be published via Contracts Finder (likely to be early February 2021). ***IMPORTANT UPDATE*** If you are interested in submitting a bid for this future opportunity, please can you let the above contact know by the Friday January 15th at 15:00. Without sufficient interest the tendering exercise scheduled to start in February may be aborted.
