Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Croydon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCCG) is seeking qualified providers for the Intermediate Care Bed Service, with a maximum contract value of £2,857,400 over approximately three years, plus an option for a two-year extension. The market engagement event is scheduled for 20 October 2017 at Croydon District & Masonic Hall, London. Interested parties are invited to submit their expressions of interest by completing the Market Engagement Questionnaire by 5pm on the same day. This initiative aims to design services that address the physical, mental, and social well-being needs of Croydon residents while avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the health and social care sectors, particularly those offering rehabilitation and care services. SMEs and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are well-suited to participate, as the CCCG is interested in innovative proposals that can enhance service delivery. Engaging in this process not only allows businesses to contribute to local healthcare solutions but also positions them to compete for future contracts based on the outcomes of the market engagement exercise.
