Notice Description

NHS Calderdale and Kirklees (Greater Huddersfield Primary Care Networks footprint only) CCGs, are seeking to commission a Microsuction Service. The Requirements of the service are: - To provide Microsuction in primary care (GP practices) and the community. - To provide general ear care advice and education and promote self- management prior to medical intervention. - To improve the pathway of care for people with hearing loss by removing ear wax prior to any referral for audiology assessment. - To provide equitable timely access to Microsuction in primary care and community settings and reduce unnecessary referrals to secondary care. - To ensure that Microsuction is appropriate, necessary, clinically correct, of high quality, with timely access. - To ensure equity of access across the CCGs population. Process Based on the above the CCG is keen to receive expressions of interest from suitably qualified potential bidders. Your response should include: - Please provide an overview of your organisation(s) and experience in providing a Microsuction Service - Please confirm that your interest is based on a clear understanding of the requirements of this set out in this notice - Please confirm your capacity and capability to be able to mobilise the service - Please provide your proposed service model - Please provide details of how much it would cost to deliver this service Additional information: Please note that an expression of interest in delivering the Microsuction Service is not a tender response. An expression of interest is no indication of a commitment to participate in the tender process nor does it infer and special status on those providers who do submit an interest. The market response to this notice will be used to inform the commissioners view as to any future process to select the most suitable approach to meet its commissioning intentions. This does not commit the CCG to undertake the procurement of the Microsuction Service. The CCG has the right to withdraw this notice.
