The Request for Information (RFI) is to enable Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority to determine potential availability of 2 x Twin Outboard Powered Inshore Lifeboats for the use in Search and Rescue (SAR) missions by the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) Marine Rescue Unit (MRU) on the Mersey River. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.The contracting authority considers that this enquiry may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). The Request for Information (RFI) has been produced to enable Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority to determine potential availability of 2 x Twin Outboard Powered Inshore Lifeboats . Pending the results of the RFI exercise, the Authority may issue a formal tender for the required vessels.
