North Staffordshire CCG & Stoke on Trent CCG Consultant led Community Gynaecology Service
Notice Description
North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent CCGs commission health services for around 503,000 residents and are inviting expressions of interest from providers to deliver a consultant led Tier 3 Community Gynaecology Service which will incorporate triage, see and treat, diagnose and manage gynaecological conditions. This will serve as an alternative to hospital based treatment for the majority of patients being referred by GPs for gynaecology services. The service will offer local, accessible, high quality care that would allow for appropriate signposting. The service will integrate with local GPs and Acute Specialist Services and should also have full responsibility for all operational management, administrative, staffing and training requirements and all associated costs. The Contract will be for 3 years with the option to extend by up to 2 years subject to Commissioners approval Additional information: If and when this requirement is offered to tender, this will be done via electronic means using the internet. Midlands and Lancashire CSU is conducting this procurement exercise as a central purchasing body for anotherNHS body with whom the successful bidder will enter into contracts for the supply of the services. Any other public sector body wishing to access the contract may do so only with permission from the contracting NHSbody. The contract conditions will be set out in the Invitation to Tender. Further details will be made available viadocumentation and information released during the course of the tender process. Submission of expression of interest and procurement specific information. 'Light Touch Regime' services: This procurement is for clinical services which are Light Touch Regimeservices for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as specified in Schedule 3 of theRegulations('Regulations'). Accordingly, the contracting authorities are only bound by those parts of theRegulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7. The contracting authorities are not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations. The procedure which the contracting authorities are following is set out in the MOI to be issued with the Tender. As the CCG is a relevant body for the purpose of the National Health Service(Procurement, Patient Choice and Competition) (No 2) Regulations 2013 these Regulations also apply to this procurement. The Commissioners may hold a bidders event 1 week after the issue of the tender documents. Details to be issued with the tender documents.
