Notice Title
SP09.14 - Cranes - Old Oak Common (S4) Station
Notice Description
Scope of Work: Internal and external lifting will be required in identified locations. Most of the vertical lifting will occur alongside the completion of permanent works which in return requires the Subcontractor to carefully plan the methodology to avoid damaging permanent works. It will also require coordination and communication with the various Fit-Out and MEPH Contractors and Others to understand programme constraints, sequencing of works, The strategy shall also allow for the speedy mobilisation, relocation and demobilisation of Equipment to move materials, plant, and equipment to suit the Contractor's programme requirements. Phase Two - Uses small cranes to operate internally or similar means of lifting, at HS2 Station concourse level to move materials, plant, and equipment to HS2 platforms 9 up to 14 (B2 Level) and to the Shared Accommodation Building (SAB) 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor. This phase initiates when access to operate within the concourse is considered / deemed as safe to operate under the main roof works (approx. mid-2027). The use lateral vertical lifting may be necessary to move materials to 1st floor and 2nd floor of the SAB building as construction works will be allowed to proceed under areas considered "deemed as safe working environment". Phase Three - Supply of dedicated small cranes or other means of lifting for the ancillary buildings where there is no tower crane in service or where it requires a bespoke solution to be developed for vertical lifting scope.
