The National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) Board of Trustees have confirmed that a programme of internal audit will be established to provide independent assurance to the Board and its Finance and Audit Committee that its financial and other controls, and risk management procedures, are operating effectively. The NFCC has therefore decided to procure a provider of internal audit services.
