Notice Description

The London Borough of Bromley ("the Council") is seeking bids for provision of SEN Mediation and Dispute Resolution Service. This new duty under the Children and Families Act 2014 came into effect on 1st September 2014. It introduced formal mediation and extended the scope of disagreement resolution services for parents of children with special educational needs/disability and for young people with special educational needs/disability who are seeking or subject to an Education Health and Care Plan. Service users may include parents and young people, Local Authority representatives from Education and Social Care, representatives from relevant health services. A range of agencies may participate in mediation/disagreement resolution meetings according to the circumstances of the individual case. The contract will commence on 01/01/2021 and be for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further two years on (1+1 year) basis. The tender opportunity will be run through the London Tenders Procurement Portal and you will need to register your company with the portal as soon as possible (if you have not already done so) at www.londontenders.org to ensure that you are able to access and submit the relevant documents online.
