Employee Mindfulness

Notice Description

In order to support the Council to fulfil its obligations to members of staff in respect of their emotional resilience and wellbeing both at work and in their personal life, East Riding of Yorkshire Council wish to commission a programme of mindfulness workshops and training courses for its employees. The aim of this service is to build people's capacity to thrive, and to create greater resilience to help them deal with issues encountered throughout their private and professional lives. The Council has been running a successful Mindfulness programme for staff members over the past 5 years. The new service will include a re-focus on using mindfulness for capacity building to enable people to thrive in all areas of their life. Other new areas of focus are the addition of Compassionate Care for Unpaid Carers and Retirement Transition for those who are coming to the end of their career. As a part of this commitment to our staff, we wish to procure a qualified provider to deliver a further two (2) year programme, with options to extend for up to a further two (2) years.
