A Worcestershire Domestic Abuse Advice and Support Service

Notice Description

Worcestershire County Council is looking to commission a Worcestershire Domestic Abuse Advice and Support Service. The primary purpose of the Service is to contribute to prevention and reduce the risks of harms associated with domestic abuse for adults, children and young people living in Worcestershire. The Service will work in close partnership with commissioners and providers of police, substance misuse, criminal justice, health, social care and voluntary sector services to ensure there is coordinated access and sustainable support networks to promote sustainable recovery. Additional Domestic Abuse Services for Independent Domestic Abuse Advisors will be provided in a separate, aligned contract funded by West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner. The Council intends to contract with a single Provider, however subcontracting arrangements, partnership arrangements and/or a consortium approach to service delivery are welcomed.
