Notice Description

The Centre for Bacterial Cell Biology (CBCB) at Newcastle University is the world's first major research centre with a focus on bacterial cells. The research within the centre provides scientific insight crucial for the discovery of new antibiotics, as well as solutions to industrial and environmental problems. The University requires a Preparative-High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (Prep-HPLC-MS) System, suitable to support mass guided purification of natural products from complex microbial extracts. The scope of this contract is for the supply, delivery and installation of equipment and as detailed in Section 3 Technical Specification to the University. The contract includes after sales support and an option for a minimum of 48 months maintenance and servicing, software updates for 8 years post installation and all training necessary for safe and reliable operation of the system. This tender process is a call-off from Lot 5 of the APUC Framework Agreement for the Supply of Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography Equipment (LAB1016AP)
