NE manages 2/3rds of NNRs across England with the rest being managed by organisations such as the RSPB, National Trust and Local Wildlife Trusts. NE spends approx. PS10m a year managing these sites and NE are keen to reduce this cost through exploring savings in areas such as their Operating Model, Sustainable Financing, Commercial Opportunities and Asset Management.
