I.T Solution for Waste Services
Notice Description
In September 2023, the Assistant Director Operational Services submitted a report which provided a summary of the recommendations made by consultants, following the review of Waste Services in July 2022. The recommendations identified the need for the introduction of new technology, and these were set out in the report. The updating of back-office solutions linked with the introduction of in-cab systems would improve service delivery, strengthen business continuity arrangements, and increase the speed of communication between the customer and the service. This would result in a reduction in the cost of the service and a reduction in the services impact on the environment through reduced fuel usage and a lower reliance on paper to communicate with frontline teams. Additional information: To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, https://procontract.due-north.com/Register, then Register an Interest before 12pm 12th January 2024. The tender documentation will then be issued to all interested parties. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com Tender Responses Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 12th February 2023, 12.00 hrs UK Local time via ProContract tender portal - https://procontract.due-north.com Tender Clarifications If you require any clarifications on the tender documents, please submit these in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal. The Councils responses to these clarification questions will be uploaded periodically on the ProContract tender portal. Please note that ProContract, https://procontract.due-north.com is the only portal that includes all the relevant documents required to respond to this opportunity, bearing Project Id: DN705674 No Tender submissions will be considered without completing the tender documents in full including attachments and returning them in alignment with the instructions within the tender documents.
