Summary of the contracting process

Nottingham City Council is currently running a tender process for "CPU 2242 School Absence Insurance" to provide insurance services for schools. This open procurement method offers potential suppliers the opportunity to submit bids until the tender period closes on 5th March 2019. The services will be delivered in the East Midlands region of the United Kingdom, with the anticipated contract period commencing on 1st April 2019 and concluding on 31st March 2022. Interested providers should possess experience and qualifications relevant to financial and insurance services, which is classified under the CPV code 66000000.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses, especially those offering insurance services tailored to educational institutions. Small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly encouraged to participate, given the tender's focus on accessible service provision. As individual schools ultimately decide whether to enter into contracts with the successful provider based on the tender's terms, firms that can demonstrate tailored solutions and strong customer service will be well-positioned to compete effectively in this procurement process.
