Notice Description

The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to update the borough flood risk modelling in accordance with the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 and to ensure the Council meets its statutory duties to produce a Local Flood Risk Management Strategy (LFRMS), maintain a register of assets and a duty to co-operate with other Risk Management Authorities (RMAs). Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
