Summary of the contracting process

Leeds City College is currently conducting a procurement process titled "Server / Storage Infrastructure Provision" for the implementation of a HP/Nimble Server and Storage infrastructure solution at their Quarry Hill campus. This tender is classified under the Services category with a primary focus on Servers, and the procurement method is a selective procedure, indicating it is above the threshold. The deadline for tender submissions is set at 12 noon on 14th December 2018, with the contract period scheduled to commence on 21st December 2018 and conclude on 25th January 2019.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in server and storage solutions to engage in a competitive bidding process. Companies with strong partnerships with original equipment manufacturers, such as HP or Nimble, would be particularly well-suited to apply. As the College requires warranty and support to be included in the purchase price for a minimum of three years, businesses that can demonstrate their capacity to meet these requirements while offering competitive pricing and added value will have an advantage in the selection process.
