Notice Description

NHS Arden and GEM CSU on behalf of NHS England - Midlands & East (East) (referred to as the Commissioners) under fully delegated commissioning arrangements is looking to invite suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the services of Special Care Dentistry across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk and Suffolk . Prior to this the Commissioners are running a market assessment to engage with the potential providers to gather information. Potential providers are requested to complete a market assessment questionnaire by 10:00am on 23rd October 2018 which is being run through the Arden & GEM CSU Bravo Procurement portal. The Commissioners will gather feedback from all Providers which will help them inform their Commissioning intentions. The Special Care Dental Service (SCDS) will provide a comprehensive range of activities to improve the oral health of children and adults who have a physical, sensory, intellectual mental, medical, emotional or social impairment or disability which makes routine care in general dental practice unsuitable or impractical for their needs. The SCDS will offer specialised and Specialist-led services including timely, appropriate and effective personal preventive and restorative interventions for all children and adults to whom this definition applies, resident within the population defined by the Commissioners of the Service. Additional information: If your organisation is interested in providing these services as set out above please complete the market assessment questionnaire. The Commissioner would appreciate your feedback on the services being tendered. Providers can access the questionnaire by: 1. Express an interest by: a) logging into the Arden & GEM CSU e-Tendering portal https://ardengemcsu.bravosolution.co.uk (registration and use of the website is free of charge). b) Selecting respond to advert and (PQQ 533) 2. Complete the market assessment questionnaire Bidders should submit their response by no later than 10:00am on Tuesday 23rd October 2018. This is purely a market engagement exercise, any subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when published. The responses received during the market analysis exercise will not be taken into account in any future evaluation process as part of the formal procurement process. Please note that THIS IS NOT A PQQ, we are using this functionality within the Bravo portal.
