Notice Description

This service covers the provision of support services to often complex individuals at risk of rough sleeping who have been provided with accommodation at Rogers Court, Bedford. (The accommodation at Rogers Court will be provided and maintained under another service contract by a different provider). Funding has been confirmed for a period of three-years from 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2024. Funding for each year is capped and figures are provided in ITT documentation. The delivery of this service will contribute towards supporting the council's strategy to end rough sleeping and its commitment to strengthen partnerships, disseminate good practice and improve the quality and consistency of the service for homeless people. This provision builds upon the work over recent years of the Rough Sleeper Initiatives as well as the overall strategy to end rough sleeping. Rogers Court comprises twenty units of accommodation purposefully modified to include 20 studio apartments all fully self-contained, reception space, small staff area, interview space and small communal outside space.
