Notice Description

UCL's Extreme Citizen Science (ExCiteS) group has recently been awarded EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account funding from the "Discovery To Use" initiative at UCL. The funding has been awarded to launch a social enterprise - the ExCiteS Social Enterprise (or ESE), via the Accelerated Market Entry and Upgrade project (AcuMEn). UCL requires the services of an experienced and enthusiastic Social Enterprise Consultant (SEC) to manage the initial set up of ExCiteS Social Enterprise (ESE). The SEC's role will include securing initial funding for contracts, consolidating the project delivery approach and building the initial team, as well as managing related work packages in consultation with the wider UCL ExCiteS team. The partners will have overall responsibility for the delivery of these tenders, the SEC will be expected to support the co-ordination of activity between them and the wider team. The specification detailing UCL's full requirements is set out in the ITT, Schedule 5 ("Specification") and should be read before Bidders begin to respond to this ITT.
