Teesside University classifcation as Non Contracting Authority as defined in Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended)
Notice Description
The CPV Code attached and type of contract are not relevant. The University, having taken advice from Queen's Counsel, has reviewed its governance and income as stated in previous audited financial statements and determined that it is not a 'contracting authority' for the purposes of EU public procurement regime as implemented by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended). This applied from 1st August 2018.
