Notice Title

PS22188 - Market Projections for Emerging Technology Impacts 2022/23

Notice Description

This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the CCS RM6126 Research & Insights DPS. The Net Zero Research and Innovation Framework sets out key net zero research and innovation challenges for the UK over the next 5 to 10 years. The National AI Strategy recognises the power of AI to increase resilience, productivity, growth and innovation across the private and public sectors. Some of these technologies will be captured within this project. This work will feed into analysis which seeks to inform decision making at the centre of government on what technologies to prioritise. Go Science have conducted initial analysis of this building on the BEIS-UKRI commercialisation work, and ideally the supplier will provide a solution complementary to that. This project will help to inform preparations for future fiscal events, acting as a cross-government evidence base to inform wider strategic policy choices, and supporting the horizon scanning function in GO-Science.
