Summary of the contracting process

The North West London Clinical Commissioning Group is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for health screening services aimed at asylum seeker patients across 38 interim accommodation sites in North West London. The tender, titled "NWL0026 Health Screening for Asylum Seeker patients," seeks a service provider to ensure health screening and facilitate the integration of these patients into healthcare systems. Key dates to note include the engagement end date of 3rd March 2022, following an early engagement notice published on 31st January 2022.

This opportunity offers significant potential for growth particularly for healthcare providers, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that specialise in community health services. Providers with experience in dealing with vulnerable groups, especially those who may have complex health needs or language barriers, would be particularly well-suited to compete in this tendering process. Engaging in this procurement could foster new partnerships and expand service offerings within the healthcare landscape of North West London.
