Delivery partner for Global Young Innovators Programme (pilot)

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) will shortly be embarking on an Open OJEU procurement to establish a contract for the provision of a 12 months contract for the Global Young Innovators pilot programme which will bring together, support, fund and champion young innovators (aged 18-30) from the UK and developing partner countries to address and solve global challenges. Innovate UK has secured funding from the GCRF budget to deliver the Global Young Innovators Programme pilot programme which is designed to bring together, support, fund and champion young innovators from the UK and developing partner countries to address and solve global challenges. The aim of the tender exercise is to find a delivery partner to run the pilot the Global Young Innovators programme. The winning provider will need to: * Developing new global peer groups - bringing together young innovators (aged 18-30) from the UK and developing countries. * Creating a platform for young people to contribute their ideas and UK and South African young innovators to work together to collaboratively develop new solutions to solving critical global challenges. * Enabling young people to develop crucial business skills and develop their ideas into viable businesses through funding and support. * Building equitable partnerships with community organisations, businesses as ambassadors and NGOs in partner developing countries (South Africa) to frame challenges and support young innovators * Identifying, supporting and celebrating the innovators and leaders of the future The above list is only indicative and a full details will be shared as part of the tender package once this has been finalised. Additional information: UKRI now seek to gauge the market response to UKRI's requirements so that we can deliver improvements and benefits through new contracted provision. Supplier Days This Prior Information Notice is being issued in order to undertake a market consultation exercise with regards to the current view of requirements detailed above to take place on Monday 5th May 2020 via webinar. Please register by 14:00 on Friday 1st May 2020 including reference CS20143 Agenda 09.30 - Introduction and welcome to webinar 09.45 - Presentation from Innovate UK 10-30 - Break 10.45 - Supplier questions and opportunity to enter break out rooms with other suppliers By registering and attending you will be engaging in non-competitive dialogue which will enable UKRI to develop and assess the market's appetite, concerns and views on formulation of its requirements. The estimated value of the project excluding VAT is PS600,000.00 for 1 year period. UKRI may consider information and responses received as part of the preliminary market consultation to help inform UKRI options and further decision making in relation to the planning and conduct of the proposed procurement. For the avoidance of doubt, this notice is not a Call for Competition, a Contract Notice will be issued as a call for competition. Not registering an interest shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of preliminary market consultation will be at each supplier's own cost.
