Contract 47 - DPS Specialist for the Construction Industry
Notice Description
Service to be Provided The DPS is divided into the following High Level Lots based on the specific categories of repairs to be provided: - Lot 1 - Condensation/ventilation solutions Contractors are required to provide and install a number of condensation and ventilation solutions within tenanted properties. Lot 2 - Damp Specialist Contractors are required to carry out damp testing and works to damp proof courses on tenanted properties. Lot 3 - DP Isolator Approved Contractor Contractors are required to install double pole isolator switches. Lot 4 - Energy Performance Certificate Contractor Contractors are required to carry out Energy Performance tests on void residential properties across the Authority stock. Lot 5 - Fire Alarm Servicing & Maintenance Contractors are required to service and maintain fire alarms across the Authority's operational stock. Lot 6 - Fire Fighting Equipment Servicing Contractors are required to service and maintain fire fighting equipment across the Authority's operational stock. Lot 7 - Lift Servicing & Maintenance Contractors required to carry out servicing and maintenance to the Authority's 80 lifts and 1 elevator as required in accordance with servicing regime. Lot 8 - Masonry Contractor Contractors are required to provide bespoke stone structures and repairs and maintenance service. Lot 9 - Natural Ventilation with Heat Recycling Servicing & Maintenance Contractors are required to service and maintain systems within operational buildings. Lot 10 - Sprinkler System Servicing & Maintenance Test and maintenance of fire detection and sprinkler systems within operational buildings and homes of multiple occupation (e.g. residential care homes) Lot 11 - Steel Fabrication Contractor Contractors are required to provide specialist and bespoke steel fabrications for both tenanted properties and operational buildings. Lot 12 - Specialist Materials Including Adaptations (supply and/or install) Supply and/or installation of specialist adaptation materials (e.g grab rails) The Authority reserves the right to review and update the structure and content of any/all Lot(s) contained within the DPS at any time during the life of the DPS to ensure that it remains consistently effective and efficient. Full details of the works to be delivered including the duration, method, location and frequency of the session(s) will be determined by the Authority and agreed at call-off. The number of repair works required by the Authority is not guaranteed and is dependent on demand and budget constraints.
