Notice Title

CSSF Western Balkans UK BiH Fellowship Programme

Notice Description

To identify a suitable organisation capable of providing support to deliver a programme of UK governmental and democratic best practise in the UK that can be taken back and used as a platform to initiate and support change in Bosnia and Herzegovia (BiH). The overall aim of the BiH Fellowship Programme is to facilitate participants learning and peer exchange through exposure to the UK models of best practices in order to explore how practices developed in UK could be applied in a BiH context, in different areas. The participants should have an opportunity to see and understand UK parliamentary democracy, governmental policy making and delivery through organisations, academia, civil society and the business community. This should be focused at the national level in the UK but also considering local or regional issues in order to help embed this experience both during and after a visit takes place. The Fellowship Programme supports the longer term aim to create a body and an alumni network of professionals who will act as change agents, leading and driving change in BiH to encourage more collaborative and consensus driven politics, a more efficient and effective public sector, a stronger and more accessible business sector and a confident and challenging civil society.
