Funeral Services - Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Notice Description
Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (WUTH) has a statutory duty under the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984, to provide suitable funeral arrangements for persons who have died whilst in Hospital, specifically in those cases where there is no one readily prepared to make the appropriate funeral arrangements. It is a key requirement that the Trust provides a hospital funeral contract that is both caring and compassionate and which is delivered in a professional manner, as a last service for the deceased & their bereaved.
