Contract Summary
BCP Council requires a framework to add capacity to its In-House resources responsible for undertaking responsive, planned and project works across a variety of properties primarily, but not exclusively, within the Council's owned estate of residential and corporate buildings. Scope of this framework includes:\r • interior and exterior painting of buildings\r • painting of civil engineering structures\r \r BCP is responsible for approximately 5,100 directly owned and 480 leasehold domestic properties within the BCP area. These are primarily maintained by BCP's In-House Maintenance Team. Decoration works to the housing stock can include but is not limited to; the external decoration program, redecoration of communal areas within its sheltered blocks and responsive and planned decoration works internally. The In-House Team also undertake work on the council's corporate estate and external commercial building and refurbishment projects within the BCP area. Examples of this work might be the refurbishment of a leisure centre or office building, a street furniture redecoration program or the refurbishment of beach huts and other seafront buildings.
