The work undertaken under this proposed contact is necessary in order for the Secretary of State to carry out his legal duties under the Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations. Those duties relate to decisions on whether to grant exemptions to the restrictions the Regulations place on substances that can be used in the production of manufactured goods. Additional information: Please note that Defra procurement uses an E-tendering system for Procurement activities. This is currently provided by Bravo Solutions.
