Summary of the contracting process

Chemonics International, Inc. is seeking a supplier of CNC machinery and welding equipment for project activities under the Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine Phase 2, a programme managed by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. This is a goods procurement, classified under CPV 42662000 for welding equipment. Delivery is in Ukraine. The requirement is described broadly as supplying the machinery and equipment; the detailed specifications and required items are set out in the tender’s terms of reference and accompanying documents. The programme is multi-year and funded by multiple donors, and the purchase supports its activities in Ukraine.

The buyer invited offers through an open procedure. Proposals were due by 13 October 2026 at 15:00 Kyiv time, and questions had to be submitted by 5 October 2026 at 18:00 Kyiv time. The stated contract period runs from 12 November 2026 to 13 November 2027. The published estimated value is £1. The tender describes no lots; the procurement is for supply of the equipment as a single requirement. Proposals are to be sent by email, with price proposals in Ukrainian or English and tender-related communication in writing. The evaluation basis is not stated in the available procurement details. The project is exempt from taxes, fees and VAT in the partner country, and payments will exclude VAT.

This opportunity is suited to suppliers able to source and supply CNC machinery and welding equipment for delivery in Ukraine. The tender expressly identifies small and medium-sized enterprises as suitable, so smaller equipment suppliers may be appropriate competitors. To submit a proposal, suppliers must provide registration documents compliant with the laws of their country, complete the required terms-of-reference materials and Annex 1, and include the signed documents and completed spreadsheet. Price proposals may be prepared in Ukrainian or English. The procurement concerns the supply of goods, rather than a stated requirement for installation, maintenance or other services. The information published here does not set out particular technical accreditations, minimum capacity thresholds or past-performance requirements, so businesses should consult the tender conditions and technical specifications to determine whether their product range and delivery capabilities match the detailed requirement.
