Notice Description

Telford and Wrekin Council would like people who have a connection with the borough to take advantage of the official merchandise opportunities for 'Telford50'. The Council would like a writer to collaborate with the Council on a commemorative book of Telford and Wrekin. The writer will have a knowledge of the borough, relevant experience in writing and nurating and references of previous similar projects. Suppliers should submit up to 1x A4 brief about themselves and references and 2x A4 pages outlining a direction for the book, symopsis of the book, a guide of design formats, description of both parties responsibilities, costs and duration for completion, a suggested project plan including frequency of meetings with the Council. Following this submission we'll discuss your ideas, agree the suitability of the writer in line with the Council priorties and then agree on dates for completition of the content and production of the book. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. Please ensure that you allow yourself at least 2 hours when responding to this invite prior to the closing date and time, especially if you have to upload multiple documents. If you are uploading multiple documents you will have to individually load one document at a time or you can opt to zip all documents in an application like WinZip. No other method of submission will be accepted.
