Summary of the contracting process

The City Bridge Foundation has recently concluded the awarding stage of its procurement process for a "Suicide Prevention Programme Learning Partner." The contract, initiated through an open procedure, falls under the category of business and management consultancy services, specifically targeting general management, business development, safety, evaluation, and equal opportunities consultancy. The lead buyer is The Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London, located in London, England. "Making Impact Matter," a large supplier from Burnley, Lancashire, has been selected to deliver the project's services from April 22, 2025, with a contract duration of five years, potentially extending to seven. The tender aims to support organisations working with vulnerable groups, and it concluded its tendering period on November 29, 2024.

For businesses in the consultancy sector, particularly those specialising in management, evaluation, and equal opportunities, this procurement presents significant avenues for growth. Opportunities are ripe for small and medium enterprises that can offer innovative approaches to collaboration and impact measurement within the suicide prevention realm. Companies that can demonstrate a robust understanding of working with at-risk populations will find themselves well-suited to compete for similar future tenders. Additionally, ventures keen on establishing strategic relationships with the City of London or wishing to enhance their portfolios in safety and equal opportunities consultancy could substantially benefit.

Notice Description

City Bridge Foundation has engaged a Learning Partner for its Suicide Prevention Funding Programme. This programme is designed to support a diverse cohort of grantees, not exclusively suicide prevention organisations, but those working with vulnerable populations at risk of suicide. The duration of the contract is five (5) years, subject to the right of the City Corporation (at its sole discretion) to exercise its right to extend the Contract by up to two (2) years. The maximum length of the contract is therefore seven (7) years.
