The service has been delivered in the community since 2012. The service is well liked by patients and GPs. The service is an integral part of the referral pathway for ENT and provides an alternative for patients who otherwise would be referred to secondary care. The contract is due to expire on 31/03/19 and the 3-year extension will take it to 31/03/22
