Future Paget Programme - Architect Led Consultancy Services
Notice Description
Provision of Services to provide an Architect-Led Design Team (ALDT), led by a Lead Architect acting as Lead Consultant, to develop the hospital scheme through RIBA Stages 2-3 and support the Outline Business Case (OBC) submission. This will include preparation of reserved matters planning applications, infrastructure plans, and provision of a fully coordinated multi-disciplinary design aligned with Hospital 2.0, New Hospital Programme (NHP) standards, the Target Operating Model (TOM), and the Trust's redevelopment vision. This appointment also includes design guardianship and NEC supervisor for enabling works. Optional extensions may include RIBA Stage 4 technical design and design assurance through construction. The services will be for an initial period of four (4) years with an option to extend by three (3) periods of up-to twelve (12) months (i.e. a total contract period of up to 7 years) reviewed in-line with the completion of RIBA stage 3 and RIBA 4 dependant on NHP Contractor procurement outcomes. The Architect-Led Design Team must comprise a coordinated group of specialist disciplines, each providing the technical expertise required to deliver an integrated, compliant and fully aligned hospital design, including (but not restricted to): * Lead Architect / Lead Consultant (prime) * BIM Manager * M&E Engineers * Structural Engineers * Civil Engineers * Landscape Architect * Travel & Transport Consultant * Sustainability Advisor (BREEAM / Net Zero) * Fire Advisor * Acoustics Advisor * Building Control Advisor * Inclusive Design Advisor * Digital / IT / Smart Hospital Advisor * Security Advisor * BSA Advisor (Building Safety Act) * Medical Gases Specialist Engineer * Vertical Transport Consultant * Lighting Designer * Wayfinding / Signage Consultant * Waste Management Consultant * Carbon / Whole Life Cost * Art Consultant Specialist (art strategy only) * Enabling works Design Guardian * NEC Supervisor
