HSE reports on work-related violence (WRV) as part of the annual statistics release, based on data from the Crime Survey of England and Wales (CSEW), and from RIDDOR. HSE receives data from CSEW from the Office of National Statistics. The dataset is complex and does not include specific questions about violence at work, and therefore the anyalsis of the data to draw out this aspect requires specialist criminology knowledge. To conduct a series of analyses using appropriate statistical techniques to provide an assessment of prevalence rates and trends in WRV across England and Wales.
