Non-verbal communication services including British Sign Language and deaf-blind communication, suitable for the requirements of Telford & Wrekin Council, a local authority. The service is required to deliver planned, short notice (less than 48 hours) and emergency interpretation services, on an ad-hoc/call off basis. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The Estimated Value of Requirement is an indication only as the number of bookings can vary depending on circumstances and therefore no guarantee of volumes can be given. The Council places an emphasis on social value and considers how contracts can deliver the maximum benefit to the local community, therefore The Request for Quote (RFQ) includes questions relating to social well-being, which will form part of the evaluation criteria and members from Telford's Deaf Community will evaluate some of the questions asked (more details in the RFQ).
