This includes Care Homes, Highway Depots, Family Centres, Libraries, Historical Monuments, Museums, Schools, Offices, and more. Regular maintenance of this portfolio is essential to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of these crucial services. The Council is actively seeking tenders from experienced and capable contractors to carry out property maintenance and repair works across different locations within Cumberland. This initiative is a part of the Council's Capital Works programme, aimed at building a sustainable supply chain for projects of lower value. The Council is committed to fostering transparent communication, mutual understanding, and trust with its supply chain partners, intending to form collaborative partnerships that lead to consistent performance. The Council proposes to enter into the Framework Agreement for a maximum period of 4 years with the successful Tenderers. This is based on an initial 2-year period, plus 2 optional extensions of up to 1 year each.
