The Council originally ran an open procedure for this opportunity, and after no bids were received, followed a process under Regulation 32 to appoint a provider. The Council is now extending the contract in line with the available extension, included at the point of awarding the contract. The value of the original contract was PS1,011,000 of which PS471,000 is the value of the extension.
